Conversions, Renovation and Repair

At Vintage Sound Amps, we specialize in Black Face recreations. We sell you a complete amp--down to the black two-button footswitch and amp cover. All you need to supply is your guitar and a cord.

However, if you already own a Silver Face amp and you're still looking for that great Fender Black Face sound, we can help! Send us your tired worn out Silver Face Twin®, Super®, or Deluxe Reverb® and get back a mid '60s Black Face Recreation. We Black Face your head, replace the filter caps, electrolytics and tone caps. Add a new black faceplate and tubes. We then place your amp head in a Black Face correct MOJO finger jointed pine cab, install a new set of Weber speakers, add a vintage correct black two button foot switch, and finish with a new slip cover. Looks new, but the tone is definitely Vintage Black Face.

We can also renovate or repair your Black Face or Silver Face amp, doing as much or as little as you like.
