Vintage Sound Amps is located in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Our philosophy in amp building is very simple - we strive to build the cleanest sounding amplifier using vintage mid-60's Black Face circuitry (with modifications unique to Vintage Sound) using the best components available today.
All amps are point-to-point hand-wired for maximum headroom and warm, smooth reliable operation. We use Mojo Black Face correct finger-jointed pine cabinets, Sprague filter caps and electrolytics, carbon comp resistors, Orange Drop tone caps, solid core pushback wire, and Groove Tubes, with your choice of Weber speakers. Every amplifier we sell comes with a vintage-style Black two-button footswitch, new custom amp cover, and dated tube chart on the inside of the cabinet. All amplifier chassis and cabinets are personally signed and dated.
We also offer complete conversion services for your Fender® Silver Face amplifier, bringing it up to vintage-correct Black Face circuitry and early 60's Black Face cosmetics (new Mojo Black Face cabs, new Black Faceplate, new Groove Tubes, and an era correct black two-button footswitch).

Finally, we provide complete amp tech services. Send us your vintage amplifier for any needed repairs or a complete restoration! We are committed to quick turn around and thorough service. And whether you buy a custom amplifier or send your amp in for service, we carefully pack your amp in heavy Styrofoam and double-wall corrugated boxes for safe transport.
